What to Do After Your Prescott Job Interview

The continuous stream of work you put in during your application for jobs in Prescott doesn’t end once the interview is over. There are still plenty of productive things you can do after the interview. Regardless of how well your interview performance was, taking these steps will give you a boost and help you stand out from the competition.

1. Don’t be afraid to ask what the next step is: at the end of the interview, go ahead and ask your interviewer what comes next. That way, you will know what to expect and when the appropriate time for a follow up email or phone call would be.

2. Write a thank you letter: this should be your top priority immediately after your interview. A well-crafted letter to your interviewer should reiterate your interest in the position, and thank them for considering you. If you were interviewed by several different people, they should all receive thank you letters as well. It is acceptable to send these via email.

3. Send a follow up email: if your interviewers tell you that they will have an update in a week then send them an email a week later (if you haven’t heard back from them yet). In addition to helping you get an update, this email will also show that you paid attention during your interview.
